We got together over dinner at red dot @ dempsey to celebrate Amanda Woon's coming-of-19! So fast eh? Everyone growing a year older, a year older toward adulthood and I have a LONG way more to go. Good! The younger the better. But if I had my way, I want to reach 21 and then stop growing forever. Okay I wish and I digress. Anyway!
We managed to get some of the guys, thanks to the long weekend but still, cos others couldn't make it, Jer and I were quite worried that it would be a fail outing! Luckily it turned out to be waayy better than I had imagined. Honestly, anything you do, be it eat play club run drink, it is as fun as the company gets. If your company sucks, then your day/night will suck as much too. But okay, I digress yet again.
The night turned out FUN and laughter-filled cos after awhile, we just stopped eating completely, and talked to one another. Ji cool sial! Our jobs have morphed us into weird-sounding lians LOL. It's okay! Fun to be lian once in a while LOL. So over 2 games of Bingo which thrilled us (maybe it's just me) to bits and everything else, we mingled and laughed - like a very successful speed dating night! :)
Food was actually okay only, but I have no idea why I have so much faith in this place, I know for sure I will return. I think our night was marred by the fact that the reservation didn't get through (never quite understood how such screw-ups can even take place when the person on the other end of the line actually asked for your name and number?? Baffling.) and we got dumped outside with 2 candles. I hate it when I can't see the food I eat. Food > ambience ANYTIME. The last time I had such a disastrous dark dinner was at Oosh @ dempsey also. Sucks to that! But the pizzas were so nice - and cheap too! Can't say that this is the closest to authentic true Italian pizzas you'll probably only find in Italy or expensive Italian jaunts here, but heck! They're more than palatable! :)
Met an ooooolllddd PCPS friend who was working there. SUCH A COINCIDENCE! She said she only recognized me when I asked for water. Funny right? She became so much prettier!! And I remember that we share the same birthday date! Only 2 in PCPS back then. Awesome. Facebook connects people. (Y)(Y)
