I'm probably the only heartless, cold-blooded soul in the entire world who didn't shed a tear watching Marley & Me. Not only did I not cry, I felt the urge to kill the dog many times during the movie, especially at the beginning (before he started to get adorable), and when Jenny wanted to throw him out of the house, I secretly cheered. I was like, YA MAN! Get rid of that dog man! What took you so long to realize it was a pain in the ass!? Every day of my life, I teeter on the edge of taking a knife and killing the FIVE dogs next to my house. Marley, irritating as it is, is not even a fraction as irritating as the dogs next to my house. (Running joke in the family: When my groom comes to receive me from my house in future, one of his Jiemeis' task is to kill the dogs first. Present the dogs' heads and you get the maiden's hand muahahahah.)
The tale's a sad but not unexpected one. Halfway throughout the show, I told G, "DUH, that dog's so going to die at the end of the show.", to which I received some eyeballs-rolling. I didn't feel a tinge of sadness when dear ol' Marley died, except to say AWWWWW when the dog waited faithfully for the boys to come home from school. That's the only emotion I felt! Am I cold-blooded?? NO! I just hate dogs! HAHAHA. Sorry Cand, I take back what I said about the possibility of me having a dog. Never.
That said, I was busy thinking just how cute Owen Wilson is, how adorable his sons were (THOSE are what you call adorable!), and how HOT Jennifer Aniston is I would die to have her body please. So that's it for me! Marley's a good dog, and the movie's nice, but it's a doggone (pun unintended!) one when it comes to ANTI-dogs people like me. I would imagine dog-lovers bawling at the end of the show though.
Chick flicks like He's Just Not That Into You was so much better! Although it's not a movie worth anything more than $7.50. It's nice enough seeing a hot cast, Jer and I were just saying how cute this and that guy is, and how Scarlett Johansson's boobs are just. HUGE.
Whoa! Enough movies for a while! I've watched 4 in 2 weeks, and that's mighty alot. But there were really many nice movies around recently! Next up is.. some lame funny comedy with my brother - whatever he wants to watch. I pay, we watch, we happy (:
