Dress it up with the trappings of love
Yesterday was a super fun day out! I love retail therapy, I love spending money (when I have money), I love Kehui & Jer for being the best shopping partners I can ever find, I love meeting the boys for dinner & drinks & talking rubbish, I love Valentine's yesterday!
Okay let me blog about the day chronologically since I haven't done so in so long and I feel like rambling today!!
The two stupid shits told me to meet at 2.30pm at Orchard MRT. Knowing that I (and the 2 of them also okay) will always be late, they gave a buffer of 3pm. What they never guessed is that Little Miss Late reached at 2.15pm! Had to wait ALONE at ORCHARD MRT where half the population of Singapore walked in and out. Luckily for me, Calvin Soon - bless his soul - came to find me and accompanied me for awhile so that I would look less pitiful hahaha. Happy Vday!!
Then he left and we went shopping at FEP!! Shopping yay! We all bought 3 items each I think. All combine into one bag at the end of the day! Let me tell you what I bought. I bought a pair of shoes, a pair of pants, and a brown bag! All for work! And then I did something very embarrassing with a black bangle which I eventually bought to remind myself not to embarrass myself in public anymore, which I obviously will not mention here. It was really quite embarrassing but funny hahaha. WHY AM I ALWAYS DOING THINGS LIKE THAT ARGH.
(AND EVERYONE, WE SAW CAND AND RAPHAEL. HAPPY NOW?! LOVE YOU! <3)
Then we got hungry and tired and thirsty so we took a tea break! Sat down and talked. Then John and Zhenhan and Hiok came to find us. Went to Borders cos of John The Pimp. While we were waiting for the boys to end their literary pursuits, we took a seat and Jer gave us our Vday gift! I Love You toast! (Jer I ate it for breakfast!) And later Zhenhan came back to FEP to shop with us and give his invaluable comments and insights. We absolutely appreciated that! Kern came around 7 plus. Shop shop shop and somehow, it was 8 already! Time to eat!
Settled at Indochine @ Wisma, and Jer and I made wonderful dinner choices! Filled our grossly empty stomachs, listened to Cats In E Cradle, people-watched and saw more friends-couples, ordered martinis and just chilled! WHAT AN AWESOME TIME.
why are shopping bags so ugly
Then I had to go home cos my father was beckoning me, and as much as I hated to leave my friends, I am a very filial daughter. Cannot make my parents wait up for me hahaha! So I went home, washed up, finished reading my novel, started watching a new Korean drama online, and I went to sleep!
I dreamt of A-level results. I got AAAAC. I think I was influenced by what ZH said in the day. I remember getting a shock but was very happy still because the C was for some H2 subject which doesn't matter hahaha. Can get into law school already!! Happiness. But alas, it's all a dream. ): ): Hope reality will be better than this hahaa.
I had a very enjoyable day! Thank you you all who made it so lovely! :)
