Well hello again..
Just a bit of an update on my sucky morning yesterday.. I went to centrelink again because.. they're idiots.. lol..
1. They didn't send me my fortnightly form..
2. They still hadn't paid me..
and once again I was given the old.. "oh your form hasn't been processed yet.. Michael's still working on it" when Michael promised me two and a half weeks ago that he would process me "tomorrow morning" as in.. 2 weeks ago tomorrow morning...
I'm trying to stay calm.. but this has been almost 2 months now with no pay what-so-ever :| I haven't had a job for that time.. and I've had no centrelink payments.. so all I've had to live on is the money that was in my wallet when they stopped paying me.. and $46 that I got the other week from closing down one of my old accounts.. That's just mean.. I can't live for two months on that little money :/ Lucky I have Andrew.. he's been helping me out..
(you know Centrelink owe me about $730 now? $730!!!!)
So anyway.. on the way home from Centrelink.. I was like half way home and I hear this terribly loud.. *BANGBANGBANGBANG*!! I thought my tyre must have blown out.. cos it kinda sounded like I was driving on bare rims or something.. so I pulled over after about 50m of that.. (which was only like 2 seconds at 80k - actually probably less than two seconds when you think about it literally :p) and my sister jumped out to look at it.. and she's like.. "eerr.. come and have a look at it yourself :/" lol.. Tyre was still blown up etc.. the tread had just decided to... *fall off*... yes.. apparently it's a common thing :/ but yeah come to think of it now.. I do often see tread sitting on the side of the high way.. so I guess it is common.. but still!!! So one big chunk was sitting 50m down the road.. and another chunk was still attached and flapping against my mud flap which is now completely buggered because of it... I didn't know there was so much wire in a tyre! Enough to hash my mud flap up pretty good anyway!
Luckily RACQ didn't take too long to show up.. cos I was on a hill.. so I wasn't gonna attempt changing the tyre myself.. incase it rolled back onto me :/
Anyway.. sorry :/ this is turning into quite a bit of a bitching board isn't it.. I promise i'll stop bitching so much when I get a job and start having a bit of money to live on.. you've just caught me at a bad couple of months :p
