Next week looks cute. I mean, I'm worn down and over ever getting excited by anything the current writers produce, but it looked cute, so maybe it will be. Stranger things have happened.

I don't read post-9x01 Wincest and I am not really interested in any other kind of fic, so I honestly have not noticed the increase in output, but I'm glad to hear it's happening!

Well, Deamon has definitely generated lots of interpretations and possible storylines, but it's not only fic, I also feel that meta and discussion - which was slithering into a very thorny beauty sleep at least in my haunts - got some new creative juice as well. For me, it doesn't have to be all good, but the engagement of fandom is important, and I personally feel inspired to engage again.

I've never been much into meta, but I will say that demon!Dean, however poorly executed he for the most part was, was an interesting enough idea that I finally have a lot to think over after episodes and have been enjoying thinking through the possibilities in a way I was not able to with Season 9. So I'm not surprised it's generating more conversations! I agree--even though I have not been enjoying much this season, just that spark of finally being vaguely interested to talk about some of it has felt really really good.
