I have made it through spn_j2_bigbang alive, and now everything is rainbows and flowers and naps by the pool. I FEEL SO FREE. After like four days not sleeping because I HAD TO WRITE, I took a fucking gigantic nap. Anyway, if you missed it, my crazy can be found here:

They cast him down to Earth, far from any ocean, where it is assumed he will die without access to water. But Jensen is rescued by Jared, a man who lives alone on the farm Jensen was dropped on. Jared has lost everything he ever held dear, but he has not lost his kindness or his willingness to help a very strange stranger in need.

More important and enjoyable than my silly story is THIS GODDAMN AMAZING BALLS ART that blythechild did for it, because she is a saint. Even if this fic is not your thing and you do not plan to read it (as I imagine is the case with most rational humans...), you should really go look at that art and comment to tell her how awesome it is. Unless you hate yourself, IDK.
My next big project is to wrap up my sncross_bigbang, which I am working on with sammycolt24. It is about how Sam/Dean become Men in Black, and I'm really happy with what I have so far! :D Would anyone be interested in betaing that? I am predicting it will be between 17-25K (but Cherie, you say, that is a ridiculously large range. Yes, my sweet summer child, I have fucking given up on trying to realistically predict how long my fic will be, it always ends up twice as long), and I post on the 27th. I am super confident my beta will have AT LEAST a week with it, including a weekend, if not a few days longer. The only really triggery warning that applies, I think, is intentional memory wipes. It's also spoilery for all three Men in Black movies. Ideally, I'd love to have someone not-so-familiar with Men in Black canon to tell me if it makes no sense at all and someone pretty familiar with it to reassure me that my J voice isn't terrible (I'm not horribly concerned about this, frankly, I have been waiting my whole life to write Will Smith and I AM READY FOR THIS TASK).
I hope to wrap that up over the weekend, but to unwind after big bang, I am greatly anticipating swimming in this pool:
