Summary: AU of 6x22: Sam's wall has shattered and the memories in his mind have splintered. When the Sam who remembers Hell tells him to go find Jess and be happy, Sam knows he can't stay while Dean needs him. But when the Sam from Hell says that Dean is already there looking for him, Sam leaves his memories of the pit behind to find him.
What he finds is a life he doesn't remember: a house that he shares with his brother (and has for years), a law career he thought he'd left behind at Stanford, and a relationship with Dean he never dreamed he could have. Life is almost too good to be true, at least until Sam begins to hear his brother's voice calling to him, begging him to wake up.

SPEAKING OF AMAZING ART AND MY UNCANNY LUCK ABOUT THESE THINGS. As if anyone in fandom doesn't know, spn_reversebang claims went up this morning. I got my first choice!!! I'm so happy because--while there was tons of great stuff and I'm sure I could have been inspired by a lot of it--I saw this piece and wanted it so bad right away that nothing else could have truly satisfied me. UM, HELLO. I've always wanted to write a Circus AU. My artist, it turns out, is the lovely secretlytodream (I really hope we're allowed to announce these things now XD)! I've always known she was one of our best vidders, but it seems she's been hiding this incredible drawing talent from us all along! I AM SO THRILLED TO BE WORKING WITH HER. Especially since she just sent me this mega email with her ideas for the story and it's completely different from the direction I was planning to go but HOLY AMAZEBALLS is that okay with me. THE IMAGINATION IN HER IDEAS HAS SET A FIRE OF INSPIRATION IN MEEE. PLUS, THERE IS VICTOR HUGO. Now I just wish I could start writing this right away, but alas for other fic obligations I must get through first.
Said other fic obligations at the moment are kink_bigbang, which has a 4K rough draft due tomorrow. I haven't started, but I ain't even a little worried. I wrote 9,925 words yesterday, which is a career high for me in one day writing. My point is: I think the muse is back and I'm pretty sure she will bless me with 4K of J2!knotting with relatively little angst. Then I hope to spend the rest of the weekend finishing up rpf_big_bang with ordinaryink so we are ready to post in the purely hypothetical situation that we ever get posting dates.
Life is still really busy. I hope to update this weekend with pictures of my room once I have finally gotten the last few things on the walls (here for a month and still not moved in--what is this semester?). Things are pretty good, though unbelievably stressful. But now it is the weekend and my mommy is coming over tomorrow with chicken soup to watch Supernatural with me. I am a grown up. I am going to be allowed to drink legally in 5 days. BUT YAY MOMMY CUDDLES. As to my big 21st birthday--sadly it falls on a Tuesday. My Tuesdays are so packed I don't even have time to have a dinner. :/ But my sister has a concert on Thursday, so I fully intend to have my mommy buy me all the alcoholic drinks then. :D Like I said. GROWN UP ADULT WITH RESPONSIBILITIES.
I am going to try and write something very quick and then go to bed. ♥
