Taylor Swift's newest song is pretty funny.
I never get cell phone reception when sitting at my desk. It's pretty annoying.
Today I made candy grams to sell at school. I hope the kids buy them. They're always wanting candy....and this time they get a fun little valentine card with it (like the ones we gave each other in elementary school)
I should have finished my school applications this weekend, but I didn't. 2 more to go. For now at least.
I almost got dog, again. But I didn't. She has a good home now though.
Church was good this morning.
While working on school stuff this afternoon I watched John and Kate Plus 8. It makes me laugh lots. It's excellent birth control.
I then watched the last quarter of You Got Mail. Awwwww....makes my heart melt a little.....Brinkly, Brinkly!....... I wanted it to be you. I wanted it to be you so badly.
This week shall be full of fun stuff in the evenings:
Monday.....late dinner with Sarah since she'll be in town.
Tuesday.....cookie making with Steph
Wednesday.....LifeGroup, possibly at my place.
Thursday.....Relay meeting (yes, on Ferris Wheel Day)
Friday.....hanging out with Jess S and probably others
Saturday....Relay stuff in the afternoon, then Valerie is coming to visit
YAY FOR FRIENDS!
Martian Child and No Reservations come out this week too. I love John Cusak...kinda like how I love Tom Hanks.
Working out is still going well. I get in a good workout at least 3 days a week, and usually do at least 15 minutes of something on most other days. My max is 4.5 miles at one go. Right now I'm working on staying there for about a month, but adding elevation. Since it's too cold to run outside (I'm not that dedicated), I run on the treadmill. It does some of the work for me, so it's a lot easier to step off the ground. But if I put it at about 3% incline, it is very similar to running outside. 3% doesn't sound like a lot, but it sure does feel like lots!
Steph, Ash, Margot, and I went to the North Market yesterday for the first time. It was quite impressive and I definitely plan on going back. I got pad thai for lunch and bought some canolis from Mozart's bakery. I also had some fresh passion fruit tea from Bubbles. The guy who made it for me looked like quite the catch. It made the tea extra yummy, I'm sure.
Jess is going to Mississippi for the week. I'm pretty stoked to have the apartment to myself, even though I won't be home much this week.
I mailed out a couple of fun letters today. I sent Kate a singing happy engagement (yes, Kate is engaged!) card (it had a picture of a beach and played The Beach Boys song Aruba, Jamaica, ooh I wanna take ya...) and I sent Laura a funny ad from the paper that made me think of her.
Yeah, Kate is engaged. Her and Jose are planning a December wedding in Puerto Rico. Close friends are encouraged to go too :-)
That's all....I think I'm off to bed early tonight.
G'nite
