GOD STAYS WITH US
When mornings come yet nights remain
as shadows in our mind,
with sunshine clouded by our pain--
fear trails us close behind.
Our valley stretching dark and deep
leaves hope a memory...
but before we take our final sleep
if we cry to the Lord, we'll see
that we've sought God there, sought God here...
seeking God far and wide--
yet all the time God's waited near...
God's journeyed by our side.
Whether our path be rosy or bleak,
with a thankful heart we pray...
in the quiet God's Love may speak--
our Creator illumining our way.
