JC, where do I even begin with you? Friending you has completely redefined my fandom experience. So many of my favorite people who I talk to every day, I met them through your Twitter. You are like the hub of fandom for people with correct opinions. I love your irreverent approach to fandom, that you know what things will enthuse me and are always sure I see them, your fucking unmatchable sense of humor and that you're never afraid to give us all a slap of reality every now and then. I love that we share so many interests, even outside of fandom, because, LBR, who the hell else is going to go see Broadway shows with me? Hanging out with you IRL is just as fun as hanging out with you online, and I've lost a truly distressing amount of my life staying up late because I couldn't put down a twitter conversation you decided to start at 2 am because you hate me. I am HONORED to serve as your Vice President in #Gaywatch (possibly my favorite fandom thing for the last year), and it is great to know I can always count on you to be on #teamprocrastination with me. You support so much of fandom, throughout all kinds of mediums, I know you always go out of your way to make sure people get props when they are due.
