First let me apologize to all of my loyal fans who haven't seen an update on this journal for weeks. Ahem. What have a been up to since we last connected? well, there was a trip to the cottage where much eating and drinking ensued, a trip to Toronto with a side trip to Waterloo where the eating and drinking continued, a visit from my Uncle Traveling Mac from outerspace...aka: Eppy, a trip to Mcadam to visit family, and last but not least, a trip to Halifax to find an apartment. I move sometime this week. I've had the most amazing summer of my life, considering the stress involved and I wouldn't change a thing....well, except the part where I rarely see my sweetie...single tear...and now it's time to settle down into a two year massage therapy program. My life in Halifax will be exciting, I'm sure as there was never a dull moment on my recent trip. Finding an apartment was not easy and not cheap! But I have one now and it's time to make it my home sweet home...

I must admit, I am afraid of what life will be like living alone down there without a television...not just cable...the whole tv: we've been using Nigel's at this place and I gave mine to my dear sweet mom when hers died. I will also be without a Cd player and a computer, so no more late night msn chats and no more downloading! Just study...until I can sucker someone into finding me a TV! I do have a DVD player, which is a blessing that I am grateful for...someday it will make a great partner for some lonely TV and the two can not only play movies together, but CDs and Cheryl's stark raving mad phase will end. I must say, life sure is interesting when we get what we wish for.
