So yeah...HAPPY
Life is good. I have had an awesome weekend. I went to a Teen Conference as a chaperon for the girls from my church in Hartford on Friday/Saturday. I figured it would not apply to me, since it was geared for high school age girls, but I tell you what. The messages that were presented were moving, inspiring and hit home in more ways than one. It was awesome. And not to mention the fact that I believe that it really impacted one of our girls. It is always good to know that someone grows as a result of these Conferences. Including myself.
Then, after no sleep, a long day and generally exhausted, it was off to Dave & Busters. For those of you who don't know what it is, it is basically Chuckie Cheese for big kids with alcohol. Can't go wrong there. So, meet up with Sean, Missi and her date Jim first at Fire & Ice restaurant in Providence. If you have never gone, go. AWESOME food. I won't give away the punch line, so just go. The to D&B where the 4 of us met up with Angel, Kate, Brendan, Mike and John. Awesome night hanging with everyone and playing games. Didn't get a stuffed toy from the Big Claw machine, but it is all good. Life was still good that night. We're official! :)
Yeah, so only slightly happy today. :)
So, on that note, I am tired and need a nap. And I need to check on my mom. Keep her in your thoughts please...she is in a lot of pain today...hopefully it is nothing too serious and will work itself out. Otherwise, I might be at the Emergency Room later today. *crossing fingers*
