Thoughts? Insight?

So, I have decided to write in a call to those out there who read my journal. I have been told by a wise man that I need to get out there and meet people. But my problem is that right now I have limited places that I go. So, I am looking for advise. Where are good places to meet people that are semi-close by (I live in North-East CT)? And preferably people around my age (all of 24).

So, does anyone have any suggestions? I'll take anything into consideration at this point...even if I don't meet "Mr. right" at one of these places, I need to expand my social circle.
