they weren't having it
we brought them down to the resavoir in a box
they were doing fine at first
then the geese came and it all went to hell from there
the other geese saw we had food and came to get their share
the babies were so cute! i can't believe our ducks used to be that small!
i introduced the geese to our ducks, but the geese weren't too accepting and bit my poor duck
after seeing the geese they wouldn't even go near the water again
the geese were actually really cool so we stayed awhile and played with them. they were just big babies, they weren't even old enough to honk yet. they were awesome because they let us pet them and they liked to nibble on my fingers. this was the coolest goose i think, he was the most friendly. hehe, and he has crackers on his mouth.
they were so excited to be going back home they couldn't keep their heads in the box
poor ducks... i don't know what we're gonna do with them now. keeping them was such a big mistake. we're gonna take them to the resavoir again and try it when all the geese aren't there. we'll stay there with them for awhile and hopefully the ducks will swim for awhile and get used to it. but if that doesn't work, then i'm really not sure what we're gonna do with them.
