Oh my god, this was so sweet! σ(≧ε≦o)

I loved the pace you set! How they became friends little by little and how Kyungsoo wasn't exactly the antisocial cliche type but rather had more complex feelings, like he knew the pros of being surrounded by people/having friends but he was just ok at being alone too. I can't really explain it that well, but anyway - it came across so much more realistic to me :)

I had seen one of the comments saying it was a sort-of platonic fic and for a moment I was a bit taken aback if I'd like it without the romance but honestly, it just fitted so well?? Like romance really didn't fit here at all and I'm so glad you didn't take the easiest route. It felt so genuine. Jongdae really just wanted to be friends with him and like you said at some point in your fic, true friendship bonds are much more valuable than romance. It's not always that I come across friendship-based fics too so it was really refreshing :D

Kyungsoo's characterization was just so... Cute? lol It's just I imagine him being the little weirdo he truly is and I can't help but see him fondly. I completely understand Jongdae's feelings related to sympathizing with Soo and I think that's your merit because you really made them so believable. I hated whenever someone was excluded back in school too. On that note, Baekhyun and Chanyeol were so mean I wanted to punch them lol But they were mostly more playful than mean so that's ok. I really liked their dynamics with Jongdae and Soo and I this may be weird but I loved the fact Baek was straight? Again, it just made it a lot more realistic and even though I love unrealistic, gay-paradise settings too (they have their pros and sometimes it's just relaxing), it's nice to read a fic more down-to-earth like yours.

Jongdae was such a sweetheart. I think you captured his personality really well because many of his actions were things I could easily imagine him doing! That's not a must ofc but it's nice and it makes so easy to imagine him. His talks with his mom were especially so heartwarming, the way he was sincerely worried and at the same time how much of a mama's boy he was. I get your point that perhaps it wasn't that much needed for the plot development but I think it wasn't unnecessary at all! I think it really helped in Jongdae's character development and just makes readers feel that more sympathetic towards him (since he's so sweet).

There were more things I wanted to comment on throughout the fic but I didn't write them down so I forgot :'( Anyway, thank you for writing this fic and I hope you continue writing in the future dear author! ♥
