and the running theme of everything being a circle, that even conversations have to come back to this one immutable point. and all that build-up meant that this part: but things do change, zitao wants to say. honestly killed me. it really defined the separation between chen and tao: tao is moving, is changing and shifting, growing up, and it's chen that's being left behind to stagnate. so when tao confesses - it's like he's tugging chen along, making him grow with tao ( ... )

I was a little surprised by the ending but I'm glad it was a happy one. For a moment there I thought my heart was going to break for poor Tao. I really like the relationship you've built here for Chen and Tao and the way it seems to be changing, evolving into something it has never been like before.
Thank you for sharing, this was a great read! ^^

“i’ve waited all night,” zitao says without really meaning to.
i really think you've hit the chentao dynamic perfectly, with jongdae being that little bit too overbearing, zitao always aware of when he was there, and more so when he wasn't. locking it away to dwell on it, but never quite getting there. the smut was brief, yes, but it fit the pace and the flow of the story perfectly.
“come on. let’s go home.”
probably one of the parts that caught me the most, because it's so open, but it's also enough. proof that it doesn't end here, that they weren't simply a were, but still are. fnrjsgs so many italics. but i really loved this, and i find your writing style very enrapturing. so thank you for writing this and i look forward to reading more of your work!

everything from start to end was so beautiful, i want to quote my favorite parts but i'd end up posting the whole story in that case
on another note though i think it was the little things that made me love this like every small comparison and the part where zitao is thinking to himself about how everything's changed and my heart just breaks a little for him when he talks about how he dated junmyeon but things didnt work out because tao kept thinking about jongdae
or where you write the time cycle and im just here thinking about how beautiful this would be in cinema like gosh i would do anything to have half your talent.....
your writing style is one of my favorites ever though like its so breathtaking and my poor heart cant handle it
im at a loss for words but im happy you wrote this because i love it a lot
