How to make a peanut butter sandwich
I seem to recall that was one of our algorithm assignments in CS50.
Here's what it looks like for me right now:
Collect dirty laundry scattered about the living room
Go upstairs to get dressed (because I am sick, so I got smiles ready for school in my pjs and R took her to school)
Pet the cat until she stops whining
Empty laundry bag into laundry basket
Put away some clean towels
Put on clothes
Collect book, water bottles, cup, and laundry bag to bring downstairs
Forget to brush teeth
Bring things downstairs and put them away.
While putting those things away: water some plants with the leftover water, put away a coat and half a dozen dirty dishes
Play dish tetris (organizing the dirty dishes on top of the dishwasher to make more fit and to make it easier for the person who fills the dishwasher)
Wash hands
Pull out dishes for breakfast
Throw away some pieces of trash and compost from the kitchen table
Get out bread for breakfast
Empty crumbs from empty bread bag, fold it up, and put it in my collection for Salem the dog
Get water glass from the living room and also collect more dirty dishes and trash
Get out remaining ingredients
Assemble sandwich
Put away tools and ingredients
Bring everything into office
Take a bathroom break
Sit down at desk
Take a picture from desk, cut it to size, tape it to the wall
Order wall sticky stuff and command cable hooks
Start writing this post
Eat breakfast
I think I understand why I don't feel like I make any progress on my todo lists.
