Chores

Now that Smiles is old enough that she should be doing chores (thanks for the reminder, remcat) I realized that a lot of things I want her to do EVERYONE in my household should be doing. (I mean my upstairs household, eowyns and 76trombones. Your chores are your own problem.) So I have made a list.

• clean up spills and cat messes immediately (asking for help if necessary)
  
• turn off the TV when no one is watching it
  
• load dishes into the dishwasher when it is dirty; run it when full
  
• bus own dishes to the dishwasher when done eating
  
• put away own laundry
  
• keep our own drop zones picked up
  
• turn off lights in empty rooms

We'll see if this way of looking at it is more constructive for me.
