Getting stuff out

Doing pretty well. It's definitely motivating me to actually go and do some decluttering every day. I'm keeping a google calendar, so I can see which things I have gotten rid of (and make plans for things that are more complicated.)

Sunday- Smiles declared it was "Trash Barrel Day" and went through the second floor collecting trash from the unloved wastebaskets hiding in the corner of most rooms. I have no idea when some of these were last emptied. I was psyched!
Monday- Two potties
Tuesday- alas, nothing. Well, I got rid of a pint of blood, and finally figured out how to cook the spare ribs a way I liked, so that's sort of getting stuff out :)
Wednesday- Two bags of handmedowns to Cradles to Crayons (They have an awesome warehouse! Now I want to check their urgent need place more often to inspire more decluttering. http://cradlestocrayons.org/boston/donate-goods/items-we-accept)
Thursday- So far, nothing. After I get up from the computer I intend to take out a giant bag of basement trash I collected yesterday, and two bags of compost. (With any luck I will also return a sweatshirt and throw away a broken small appliance. And I have sorted and packed up two more piles of handmedowns, which have people ready to accept them from me.)

Tomorrow with any luck I will get rid of something that's been annoying me for a while, plus take empties and unusable bags to the grocery store.

I know "take out trash" doesn't meet most people's standards of decluttering, but right now I just feel like I need to get things OUT.
