I didn't want to write about it until now because I didn't want to jinx it. But after a really rough start in 2009, I had a streak of 4 consecutive good days last week.
Since bridal portrait has became a core business for me, I decided to get Kristen to come back and do a session with me in her wedding dress. I did about 5 different styles with her from fashion to artsy, to just silly fun. We shot both in the studio and in the park. After I went to the park, I took her to Subway for a late lunch in her wedding dress. We managed to con them into giving us a "wedding day discount". We ended up only paying $7 for our $10 meal. Then of course, I made her do the $5 foot long pose in her wedding dress.
Tuesday I had Laura. I haven't seen her in two year since she was 17. We did some not-so-lawful stuff, so I'll just leave it at that.
Wednesday was another bridal portrait session with Andrea. We went to the state arboretum. (Thanks to Christine for the discovery of the location). The light was bad, but the experience was fun. I didn't get a lot of good shots, so we'll probably have to re-shoot, which I don't mind.
Thursday I went to visit Shauntae and she made dinner for me and her fiance. We had wine and watched really dumb TV shows.
My weekend wasn't too exciting, but I did manage to get a lot of stuff done, so overall it was a good week.
