I've been a blogging fiend. While I don't really write professionally, I find wriing therapeutic and based on my entries lately it just proves this claim. I wanted to do better (in writing frequently) not because I have an audience but I could use a good distraction. I know for sure that this would also make good use of my brain that does nothing lately but overthink. To change all that - I picked up a writing challenge for the whole month of September. Here's to September - may it bring good tidings. Thank God August was over.

Writing Challenge 1: The Story Behind Your Profile Picture
I can't say much about my display photo here in my LJ so I'm going to post about my Facebook profile picture.
This was taken January of last year. My Korean friend Sodam visited Guam at that time and she asked us if we can go around the island. Her boyfriend Andrew and my chinan chingu (best friend in Korean) Chloe tagged along with us. It was a memorable day because she took us to places we've (at least Chloe and I are concerned) never been before. We went back to Inarajan and this time we got to explore the whole place. This photo is a product of that exploration. We climbed these corals that are now beautiful rock formations giving the place a solid but scenic surrounding. The waves are scary because they can be quite big and for sure once it hits you they're going to take you back with it to the Ocean. So, nope, no swimming here. Unless you have a death wish.
I'd also like to mention that this is my favorite pose. When I was in Guam, I got to take Yoga for free and amongst all the positions I've learned - this is the one that I liked the most. So, most of the trips that I took after this, I would have this pose and am already known for it.
That's about it, kids. Most probably you'll be seeing more of this type of profile photos because one, I ain't going to stop traveling and two, I'm really into this pose.
