You can listen to it HERE, it's only a sample but I love the sound of her voice. (Track 7)

I have been on a writing kick lately, i have chapters of this backed up, just waiting to be posted :D Once I get a wifi converter for my computer I will be able to post Deans again.

Why Antigone cut herself instead of the king is kind of a mystery to me too; I DID NOT intend for this chapter to end this way. My plan was; show Lady and baby, show King being a dick, maybe add a hint of something deeper then out of no where BAM Lady cuts her face.
Me and the ex brainstormed it for a bit and I think I understand her actions; she feels alone, so who would stand with her when she's convicted of treason for attacking the King? The only heir to the throne is 9 and, as far as she knows, hasn't had any proper lessons/training, she may even be living as a 'normal' child; putting her on the throne would cause chaos. Antigone is quite proud, she get's it from her mom, but put anyone in an situation where they don't think they can get out and Stockholm Syndrome will set in; maybe she never even thought of hurting the King (she's had this dagger, yet never once drew it on him?) maybe the only way to hurt him is to embarrass him. Make a billboard of all the wrong he's done. Maybe she just wants people to have to look at it, all the people who she feels abandoned her to him. Or, final guess, maybe it's just a form of self harm; "See look I can hurt me too." sort of thing....take your pick.
About the court, yeah they are bastards. Human nature is to ignore, the bystander effect sets in and no one feels responsible anymore. Human nature is also to follow the leader and the King is a stricter pack leader than recent Kings, they're a bit afraid, a bit in disgusted, and a bit in awe. They choose to look the other way because it's easier. You're right, in Donoma there is no distinction between men and women at all under the law; which is why the first born is Prince regardless of gender. The Lords and Ladies that look the other way have never seen anything like this; they aren't even allowed to beat slaves under the law and can be punished if caught doing so; and yet here is the King of Donoma savagely beating his wife? It's almost like the system can't handle that sort of error and just implodes on itself. But we'll see; maybe they're all just heartless.
The King is a horrible character but everyone has redeeming qualities I assure you, you'll see them soon. Whether you accept them or not is your prerogative.
Thanks for all the advise and for reading, I think I need to put some SIms on a cover to get others to read this lol

I think its her pride, I do see her as a very proud character, but who knows?? We all have quirks and the ability to surprise ourselves/others with actions.
I AM interested to see a different side to the king.
Haha yes possibly :P I think people scroll down until they see sims!
