Good news stories wanted

I got kind of depressed today. On reflection, trying to determine why, I realized that all the news I've seen lately is bad. Dead zones in the ocean, 7-year olds raped, terrorists, etc.

I decided to try something, so I made a Yahoo Group. Here's the intro:

Bad news a bummer? Global warming? Terrorism? Child abduction? Murder? Focusing on the negative can take your thoughts on a downward-spiral. It would be nice to have some GOOD news delivered to your email, wouldn't it?

Post here - but only about something good you've seen, heard about, or read. This is NOT a religious group, so "Jesus Loves You" is a happy thought - but not for this group.

So, can anyone give me a "good news item" to post into my new group? To get it going? Child found that was lost? Family receives new home from community? Baby not expected to live makes miraculous recovery?

If so, could you reply here so I can gather it for my good-news group?
