[THIS ENTRY IS BACKDATED TO AROUND 7 AM MONDAY (01/09) MORNING because I was working on the picture that goes with this entry all day. Basically.

To say the least, Wally isn't in the best of moods. His best friend showed up beaten in front of the Pokemon Center after having been missing for two weeks, is now in some sort of coma, and Nurse Joy isn't sure when he'll wake up. Could be days, could be weeks. He's been reluctant to even leave the PC (Joy must certainly be tired of hearing "I'm not leaving him"), but Joy basically forced him out, escorted by a team of Chanseys, so he could retrieve some things from the hotel.

Currently, he's standing outside of Midori's room. He figured he'd drop by, apologize for having to cancel their Monday Fun Day, but he has to be there for Robin.

He knocks on the door.

A few moments of later, he takes out his Gear to call her, because she hasn't answered the door yet. She's probably just in the shower.

"The number you have reached is currently unavailable. Please try again."

The Gear clatters to the ground, and Wally bangs on the door, loud enough to annoy anyone who might be next door. It is around 7 AM after all.]

MIDORI!

Come on, please. Answer the door.

Please.

You can't be gone. You can't-

Just answer...

[When nothing happens, he slides against the door, pulling his knees into his chest. He collects the fallen Gear and tries the number again. And again. And again.

"The number you have reached is currently unavailable. Please try again."

"The number you have reached is currently unavailable. Please try again."

"The number you have reached is currently unavailable. Please try again."

( one day I'll put the illustration back )

He sits in silence for a moment, clutching the Gear, definitely not crying. There are absolutely no tears. Because Wally West does not cry.

Wally West gets angry. That's how it should be.

He chucks the Gear as hard as he can into the wall in front of him with a grunt. This is when it starts recording.

Jack, Midori's Glalie, somehow manages to open the door, and Wally almost falls backwards when he no longer has the door's support. His legs fall crisscrossed over each other.]

What do you want? She's gone. Why are you still here?

[Jack stares at him, and then Kimiko pokes her head around the corner and jumps into Wally's chest. Wally catches her but isn't sure what to do for a moment. Then Jack floats over to him and joins the hug, and something in Wally snaps.

He's crying. Softly, but you might be able to hear it.

He'll be answering later and pretending it never happened, so please excuse any pissy remarks, as he is most likely going to deny that he's sad at all.]

cry moar crying will help, pokemon get, oh no it's miyou's shitty art, @goldenrod city, help the angstbucket is overflowing, weh weh weh, my girlfriend is goooooone
