New Bark Town is it; there are two possible locations at which to arrive. From New Bark Town, it would be best if you made your way down the path towards Cherrygrove City. There is nothing for you where you are.

The other location is Mahogany Town. It's quite a distance from where you are. Those who arrive there are assigned as members of an antagonistic group known as Team Rocket.
