Quick Hello
Sorry I don´t update much, I usually update my travel blog (http://www.travelblog.org/Bloggers/gwennfar/) at least once a week and that is enough for me. But now, a few more personal things that don´t quite fit in my travel blog.
a) my sister is gettign married and I am the Maid of Honor. Needless to say, the bachelorette party WILL haul ass.
b) Erik and I have secured a cute 2 bedroom apartment in Pittsburg for $875 (I think) all utilies included. I´m going to start applying for jobs soon and hopefully I´ll have phone interviews lined up for when I get back
c) I miss everyone. A lot.
d) trip is halfover!!
e) when I get back I´m having a cigar and rum party to share the treats I will be bringing back. You want to be there.
f) I really badly want to go tubing on the cowichan river right now.
We celebrated Canada Day by puttign Canada tattoos and pins on and going out for a couple drinks. We didn´t realise it was Canada Day until about noon while we were planting a garden in Gradas. We sang Oh Canada whuile riding back from Gradas in the back of a truck, and then again in the street after leaving the restaurant tonight. In the street Damaris was filming us and the cops started creeping beside us for like a block. The video is bad ass, I´ll try to upload it on facebook later.
