Why was Teenagers postponed because of Virginia Tech?

B/c considering the topic of 'teenagers' it would be strange for a song like to be released after a teen went on a murderous rampage across his school campus. The song talks explictly about things (teen violence) exactly like this...

I'd love to go see them at Projekt Revolution buuuut I don't have the money. :( Maybe next time. Do you think you'll be able to go?

Oh, and I will upload Pencey Prep for you A.S.A.P. I have to save it to my computer first because I deleted it from iTunes a while ago (I have like, no memory left on my computer. iTunes only has songs and albums that need to be burnt onto CDs).
