Ricardo

Today was rather interesting. At about 2:30 my mother's frind "Julia" brought over her foreign exchange student Ricardo, so I could help him with his studying. Ricardo is from Brazil and he speaks Portuguese; however, he barely speaks ANY English! Can you comprehend the frustration I had when it took 6 fucking hours to barely cover the gist of one chapter in his History book?!?!?!?! He's a nice guy though. An online translator helped a lot, but not as much as one would think. I'm kinda hoping he can hang out with my friends and I so he can pick up a little on the language. His host parents have a very strong African American southern drawl. Well, I took ricardo home at about 8:30, so after that I did some bouncing on the trampoline to Weezer. I love bouncing in the winter. there's a numbness that starts in the calousses of your feet and soon spreads to the toes and eventually transforms itself into cracks of splitting pain. It makes one feels alive. The sky was beautiful tonight. Crystal clear with glowing orbs dotting the horizon. Amazing.
