Argh! Why must they torment me!
I had a fun day today. As all you Poplar Bluffians know, the library has been closed for the past few days. On the schedule, I was posted to work this moning from 9-1 shelving. There were 7 ominous life-leaching carts that needed to be scanned, sorted, and shelved waiting for me, one of them freshly retrieved from the drop box by your humble narrator via the long way utilizing all the ramps. AHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! It wasn't that bad, though. They gave me a half hour lunch compliments of my boss, roast beef, yum. I was finished by 4:30 with another perilous trip on the ramps and checking-inage. Unfortunately, I now have a great distaste for the children's novels. Those horrid little books that only take up a 1/4 of an inch of shelf with lettering almost impossible to decifer as it distorts the name across the spine. Okay, so they're not that bad, BUT STILL! I would update more, but I've re-discovered the mighty power of being lazy.
