my town is dry on xanax again. so I am going through whatever withdrawals, all over again. nothing I do seems to help except stare off into space and try not to think, sleep, eat or drink

How much Xanax a day for how long? Can you get any other benzodiazepines?

depends. some days I take like 4 to 6 mg just so I can be normal and go through my day. when I want to get fucked its however many I feel like. probably like 5 months now.
what are other benzos I can take? Im kind of stupid on looking this stuff up on the internet so thats why I posted on here.

Any benzo will do. Google benzodiazepine equivalence chart to find out what you should take to hold you. Long acting ones are better for getting through the day, Xanax has a fairly short half life and very short duration of effects, so it's bad to use long term.
Other common benzos include diazepam (Valium), clonazepam (Klonopin), lorazepam (Ativan), temazepam (Restoril). there are a shit load of other ones. Look them up.
You probably are in a range where seizures are possible. If it gets unbearable go to an ER and tell them you are in benzo withdrawal. they'll likely give you a shot of Ativan to stabilize you and some Valium to hold you while they try to find you a treatment center. If you can taper down and stop the benzos it's a good idea. Benzo addiction is awful, and if you think you're feeling like shit now wait until you have a two or three year habit and you run out.

oh shit thank you you've been the most help. my friend has had some klonopin this whole time and I didnt think itd help. I would die for some temazepam, but I havent had those is years. I used to use them to taper me off coke. they help you sleep amazingly and thats what I need right now. do you know how many ativans I would need to take? I really dont want to go to the ER. its just one more time for someone I know to roll their eyes and go "here we go again." I really didnt mean to get addicted. I know everyone says that but I got introduced to them and then you get xanmeisia and bam its 3 months later and you run out and start to withdrawal.

This is why it pays to read up on drugs before you take them.
If you take 5 or 6mg of Xanax to get through the day, try taking 4mg of Klonopin to get through the day. 1mg qd is probably the best dosing. Maybe use 2 or 3 mg as your first dose to get some sleep.
Ativan is about half as strong as Xanax mg for mg;.
get yourself well, then work on finding a doctor to help you taper off the things safely. It sucks, but it's way better than cold turkey, and as I said previously benzo addiction is terrible.

I know. I was being irresponsible. like I said I sobered up a bit and was like holy hell what all just happened the last months of my life? they all just blend together. what about paxil? I was going to take one last night but I read it makes you really nauseous

Paxil will not help at all. It works on the serotonin system, while benzodiazepines work on the GABA system.

Just use the Klonopins you can get. Only a benzo will help make benzo w/d feel better. Good lucky.
