A sigh of relief.
I'll put this under a cut since it's a little tmi...
About a week ago, my mom went in for her yearly mammogram. Normally she doesn't get one until about August but she's been having some discharge from her nipples and some swelling, plus she felt a few lumps, so her regular doctor wanted her to get a mammogram asap. I was really worried about her. She's already had cancer once and I didn't want her to have to go through that misery again. She even decided that if there was cancer again, she'd get a double mastectomy. We talked about it, about what would happen if the cancer was back and she got the surgery and stuff. I've been a nervous wreck over it. She has too.
But she got her mammogram results back today and everything checked out!!!!!!!!!!!! No cancer!!!!!! Everything looked okay. Her doctor still wants her to get some more tests to rule everything out, but pretty much she's out of the woods.
I'm so relieved and happy I could cry! ;A;
