Enter Mind #2

Sakito and Odenetheus had planned on going to the movies together with Pixie, Maja and Patrik. The day before they’d talked about seeing “The holiday” but they’d talk more about it the next day since Od couldn’t get a chance to talk to Patrik until then.

---

Sakito woke up, not tired at all however her eyes seemed to be, they were blurred and as she turned her lamp on, she felt like a blind man.

---

“Sakito?” Pixie called.

“Yes?” She answered, body partly awake while her thoughts worked perfectly. In the early hour of 10 am.

“Did I wake you?”

“No…” she thought about the answer for a moment. “Or, at least I don’t think so…”

After a small breakfast containing of a toast with cheese and marmalade and four Digestive biscuits and, as usual, a cup of tea. Soon after having her breakfast she practically ran down to the bathroom in order to have a shower. She felt as if she hadn’t been showering for over a week, Pixie hinted that maybe that was how Panda felt at times. The girls laughed, knowing that Panda seemed to be an enemy of the shower. Pixie ironed her jeans as she waited for her turn to use the shower.

“Sakito, I don’t want to go into the city with Jocke today… but I want to go into the city with you! What should I do?”

Sakito shrugged, she had got some ideas but she preferred to keep them to herself. However, to the city she needed to go as well. She longed to visit the SF bookstore, and that she had since Od had been there with her in order to buy Imo a Christmas present. Sakito too had gotten a Christmas present from Od, the Loveless manga volume three but in the same moment as she had chosen it she saw La Esparanca volume four standing in front of her. She drooled for a moment but decided on coming back later. This time would be perfect as “later”, she thought. She only needed to find a way for her and Pixie to get into the city before Jocke woke up. This wouldn’t be as easy as she had thought it would be, time rushed by and they needed to eat something before leaving. Monica got home and decided on waking Jocke up and so the plan was crushed.

“You should have woken me up!” Jocke said accusingly to Pixie as he came up the stairs.

“What?!” Pixie exclaimed. “You told me that we’d go when you awoke! Not that I should wake you up!”

“Anyways then, we can go tomorrow instead, if you wake me up then!”

Sakito smiled inside, that was easier that she had expected. The both girls left home soon after this.

On the train Sakito suddenly panicked.

“Where’s my Pokémon Emerald?! I can’t find it in my bag… only Golden Sun…”

Pixie sighed.

“You play too much, does it really matter?”

“In Örebro, it’s in Örebro, it has to be! I need to call Mother!”

“She isn’t at home.”

“Peter then?”

“Works ‘til 5 o’clock.”

Sakito cursed in her mind, if Emerald was still in Örebro she wouldn’t be able to trade a Surskit and a Treecko with Panda, that’d be terrible.

“Then I’ll have to call them later, but what if it takes damage if I ask her to send it here? I wouldn’t…” She fell silent and thought. Was it really in Örebro? Hadn’t she forgotten it somewhere else? At Od’s maybe? No, probably not.

It took her some time but after a while she exclaimed:

“I played at Minette’s, it’s in the package of Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories!” contented she sat back, relaxed and happy that she’d be able to get her precious Pokémon.

---

“Maybe it isn’t such good idea going to the cinema after all…” Pixie said. It was 6 pm and Od had called saying that Patrik couldn’t come, neither could Maja, she chose to go with Imo to Skärholmen instead.

“Nah… maybe not, I’ll call Od back.”

“Your friends are boring.”

“At times, it seems, yes.”

The visit to the cinemas was cancelled but the shopping tour had turned out quite pleasant for both Sakito and Pixie (yet their wallets didn’t seemed to be overjoyed). Sakito had found an eyeliner sharpener, a pair of suspenders and three new manga: Gravitation volume 9, La Esparanca volume 4 and Deathnote volume 4.

Now they went home. The air had turned colder and Sakito’s fingers were freezing, she wished that she had gotten a pair of gloves but she hadn’t so the only thing she could do was put her hands in her pockets.

It’s the second today, which means that Scarecrow is going to “talk” to me tomorrow. I don’t want to, I really don’t want to! She’s only going to get mad at me if I keep quiet and my problem is that I can’t actually speak in such situation! I always fall quiet and stops listening, it’s like being told-off. I can’t stand it! What will I do? She sighed, guessing that it wouldn’t turn out well. Hopefully, she’ll call me in the early hours instead of in the evening. That would be so much better. Probably, that is…
