as they come to the end of the touring cycle for their fourth album

If they go back into the studio before coming to Aus/NZ imma be pissed :\

i just came here to vent on that. did they even *bother* to go below the equator before ditching this tour?
fuck i'm sick of this elitest bullshit from bands (well, whoever sets up their tours aayway)

they're playing a festival. so, a 45 minute set tops?
and they haven't been here since *2007*.
how many tours have north america/europe/uk had since then? 'world' contamination tour my arse.

it's not just them, other big name bands do it too. countries in the southern hemisphere, esp australia and nz, get barely any tours.

45 minute set....Same length they have on the whole Honda Civic tour, and many of their festival performances in the uk.

And well...one proper uk/europe tour, and the european festivals really. They hadn't visited a lot of places since 2007 until this year...
They can't hit up everywhere, multiple times...and obviously big day out (or soundwave would have also done) fitted into their schedule and well..they received an offer to play there.
They'll probaly do their own tour on the next round of shows.

This album hasn't been as successful, especially worldwide, as The Black Parade was, so they can't tour behind it as much as they did before. It's a record label thing, not a band thing.
