Better late than never...
Here are a couple of videos and newspaper articles from MCR's performance at Bamboozle on May 5th.
I was actually able to videotape the entire show, but there are 54264346638 videos on Youtube of MCR's actual performance that are much, much better than mine (as you can tell, I was pretty far away from the stage). So, here are some videos of Gerard speaking in betwen songs, which, to my knowledge, can't be found elsewhere.
Gerard's "You can break our bones..." speech before The Sharpest Lives.
Before Cancer, Gerard apologizes for having to cancel several shows due to everyone's illness and promises to make it up to those whose shows were canceled.
Before Teenagers, Gerard speaks out against teenage suicide and violence, and urges depressed teens to seek help from a trusted adult.
Gerard tries to dodge the spotlight ("Oh shit! They've got two of 'em!") and then draws the crowd's attention to Matt, Ray, and Bob, who are performing tonight despite the fact that they are still sick.
I was lucky enough to find a newspaper on the ground at Bamboozle, which contained an article about MCR and a very nice interview with Ray, Frank, and Mikey.
