Trivium
So Trivium was fucking awsome last night!!
It was at HQ, which was actually good cause its tiny there, and since we were on the barrier we could touch them!!
So, we got to the venue about 5pm. Hardly anyone was there, so we were heaps close to the doors when they opened, so when we got inside no one was on the barrier, so we were able to get there straight away!! And everyone just stood around and didnt even try to get a good spot to see :/ i think they were all just drinking.
Anywhoo. Black Tide opened, and man were they fucking awsome!!?? Had heard of them before but hadnt really bothered to look into them.. But they just put on an awsome show! The drummer, FUCK!! he was hot!! and he was so freaking good! I dont know much about the skill level involved in drumming, but he was playing keyboard and the drums at the same time, and keeping such fast beats. Seriously. Look them up on youtube and watch the drummer! AWSOME!!
After that, unfortunatelly, Heaven Shall Burn was on. They were just crap. Im honestly not one to bag out a band, but i've seen better performances from my home town, from bands that have only been playing together for 3 months.
So anyway, Trivium! They were AWSOME!! i have honestly never seen a band interact with a crowd as much as they did! it was great. Although the bassist, Paolo, got off the stage and came down the front, and people crowd surfing bumped him and he didnt do it again.
The crowd was heaps rough though. Like fair enough, have your fun, enjoy the music enthusiastically, but the amount of people crowd surfing resulted in me with two fat lips!
On two seperate occasions a crowsurfer was being pulled over the barrier and landed on my head, pushing my down and making me hit my mouth on the barrier!! Right now my mouth looks like Angelina Jolie's lips! And they have massive bruises!!
And my boy friend dislocated his arm in the mosh, and nearly passed out, cause hes a pussy haha.
Anyway, im ranting. Im staying at mums house tonight cause mother and father are in adelaide. And i miss my kittens :(
