...you're reading more than I am. That's not right. I suddenly feel the need to buy a bookstore.

Lol, If it makes you feel better, I'm pretty sure this is the most books I've ever had on my to-read list. It is quite intimidating... o.O.

Aww, you'll do just fine! I'm actually reading Sense and Sensibility right now, and Pride and Prejudice next week. I've never read Jane Austen before, but I'm enjoying them (once I get past the language, of course).

I had a sort of similar experience with Wuthering Heights. I never actually enjoyed it because the language was so frustrating. Not because I didn't understand it, but it just annoyed the crap out of me. But after reading it, I realized that I would have Really enjoyed it had it been in more modern tongue. Hmm...

Well, I'm glad you're enjoying them. I've never read either of them... Perhaps I should add them to my list... :/.

I'll let you know what I think of them when I finish, but so far I'm really liking them! After a few pages to get used to the archaic words (and a few minutes to think to yourself "what the heck is going ON?!?! Which Henry Dashwood is which?!") you really start to get into it! Even the two guys in the class didn't want to put the books down!

Lol, definitely let me know what you think, and if I should add it to "The List" ;)

Also, Wuthering Heights sucks. It's a classic but it sucks. Heh, a classic suck. :D

I agree that it did suck, but not because it's a bad story. I actually loved the idea behind the book, and the plot, but I was sooooooo disappointed in the writing and how confusing it was. I can't say it'll ever be my favorite book of all time, but it wasn't terrible, in my opinion.

The plot could have been interesting, but I felt that Catherine was a simpering idiot. If she'd just (as cliched as this sounds) followed her heart and married Heathcliff, she and he would have been so much happier. But no, she had to marry what's-his-butt and ruin everything!! Course, Heathcliff is a little strange anyway. I mean, wanting to knock out the sides of your coffin and hers so you can... ew. Just ew.
