2010: The Year In Music
Say what you will about the music business, this year brought some outstanding albums and bitchin' songs. The traditional singles market annoyed me more this year than it has in the past, so I’ve broadened the scope of my list of best songs to include everything released in 2010, even if not an official single. That's how I roll, yo.

And sorry to the near entirety of the music press, but Kanye’s album was not light years ahead of everything else released this year and an automatic shoo-in for the top spot on every fucking year-end list. It was good - great, even - but so were other albums. Also, the Arcade Fire album is tremendously over-rated. /conniption
