All dialogue B/N Pre-slash. Brad shows Nate how to use the Blue Force Tracker at Pendleton.
---
"You're picking this up rather quickly, sir."
"For an officer or for an average human being, Brad?"
"For a Marine."
"It helps that I’m learning from one of the beta testers.”
“You’re capable of learning. That has little to do with me.”
“Well, if anything happens to you in the field, it's a good idea for the other teams to have a basic understanding of how this operates. To report back to HQ on a hit to your victor, for example, let alone for navigation. Once the assignments are finalized, I'll assign one person from each team for a tutorial with you. If that's alright."
"More than alright. Thank you, Sir."
“Speaking of which, does Person know how to use it?”
“Haven’t gotten used to the Person/person thing yet, I see.”
“No. I’m sure it gets old.”
“Oh, no, it just provides Ray with more fodder for his never-ending comedy routine.”
“That sounds very existential.”
“Yes, my version of hell would likely be a comedy club with Ray on stage and no one else in the audience. Forever. I’d better shape up.”
“So you’ve read Sartre.”
“I needed a primer on dealing with Ray.”
“All jokes aside, you work well together. I’m impressed with your teamwork.”
“He’s the best in the business. You’ll see. And yes, he’s more than competent on the Tracker.”
“I’m certain. How do you feel about Espera for ATL?”
“I wasn’t aware my feelings mattered.”
“If Kocher were still with Bravo, it would be him. But Tony. Well, he’s not field tested for recon. But I served with him on the Dubuque and. . . I think your estimation of him will be as high as mine.”
“I trust your judgment, sir.”
“I’d understand if you didn’t yet. I’m not field tested either.”

Haha, yes, I do. THAT MEANS HE'S TOTALLY MY IMAGINARY OLDER TWIN BROTHER, YO. Or something like that, um. (Don't ask me how this works, BUT I'M SURE IT DOES, OKAY.)

“Duly noted, Brad.”
“Thank you, Sir.”
