I don't like lightning
Every day it's rain, rain, rain. I don't mind the occasional drizzle or even the big heavy torrents with the big raindrops, but it's thunderstorms and lightingstorms galore! Now I know some people think thunderstorms and lightning storms are cool, but they're not cool when you want to use your computer! And they're especially not cool when you are almost done downloading a Jay Chou video that took forever to connect and then a power surge happens and your computer is switched off. Boooo!!! Sure, there's always the auto-resume button but if it keeps thundering and lightninging (real word?!) like this, when can I turn on my computer next? And will the other person be there when I go online again? =(
Yes, I have a surge protector but I happen to know of a place that has surge protectors everywhere and still had some computers die when lightning hit something on the roof. (Maybe the lighting rod thingamajig isn't enough anymore?)
