Back in the Swing
Its been nice trying to get back into the swing of school. My classes don't seem to take away as much of time as the previous semesters. That will be a nice change, a very nice change. My professor for controls won't give us more then "8 hrs worth of homework" and senior design seems to be around the same amount of time. Relief, yes!!!
Besides classes, I'm starting to get the group together to work on conference stuff. We need to get some of the major planning out of the way. Which looks like it will soak up the rest of my time besides the few hours I give myself to hang out with friends. Wish me luck!!!
Other than that, nothing special is happening. I made a trip home for the weekend to pick up more stuff I needed for school. YAY!!! I remembered to bring my safety goggles for chemistry lab. I also brought up the rest of my school supplies as well as extra books to read for fun. I left my huge collection (LOL) at home.
I did bring my buddy down to see Beaufort. He survived the weirdness that is my family and that includes my dog. We spent Saturday looking at the sights of Beaufort, which took about 2 hrs without stopping. (LOL) Sunday we spent watching some movies from the late 80's. Most of them he has not seen. Oh and we viewed the singing alien from Naked Space, (my favorite scene from a horrible movie).
The weekend went well and now I have to do some hmwk for my class tomorrow. I'm glad it only involves reading. ^_^
