Well, I finally joined the rest of my family in geek hood. I just received my first pair of glasses. I been having a problem with my eyes since I started working, or maybe I just noticed it more because I wasn't busy studying. Anyways, I had the problem with the computer. Yes I sit in front of a computer most of the time when I'm not in meetings or the plant. Well, my eyes would not focus and the words would blur, so I thought it was due to the computer. LOL-I was wrong. I needed my eyes checked its been about a good 5 to 6, oh who am I kidding, 10 years. The first one I had was with my physical with Voridian. What I realize now is I did my test wrong. All I had to do was look in a little machine that tested the eyes together and not separately. So when I couldn't see, haha, I closed my left eye and proceeded.
I finally make it to another eye doctor because of the Voridian test. The nurse said I had adequate sight, yeah-I wanted to get a better understanding of what that meant. So I had my first Friday half day that did not involve me going home, so I headed to the base hospital and they pointed in the direction of Wal-Mart. I actually had time for the appointment and they had an opening. She was testing my eyes separately and my right eye was fine, but when it came to my left eye I could only see the first two lines. I thought to myself or maybe I said it out loud, Holy Crap I can't see. LOL
So now I know what is wrong with my eyes. I have a sist (sp) in my left eye, which is funny if you think about where my twin's is. His is in the right eye. LOL-sorry little twin joke. Anyways its not too bad, I see 20-20 in the right eye and 20-30 in the left eye. So I have plastic frames because they were able to give my glasses to me yesterday. They are so cute. I'm excited to have a pair, because I can finally see without causing my right eye anymore extra work. So now I'm left wondering, how long have I had this problem and put it off?
