I had been counting on it NOT to do that...

I work 9-6 most days over break, which means I had to schedule physical therapy as early as possible in order to get to work on time. Luckily, Jeremy now comes in early enough for me to get an appointment at 8. I had been counting on weather decent enough to ride my bike, as Northfield Transit doesn't run that early. We got 5-6 inches of snow on Monday, and are in the process of getting another 6-8 inches last night and today. Serves me right for counting on March weather in Minnesota to do anything. If I had desperately needed snow for some odd reason, I'm sure it would have been 60 degrees and sunny. It was a long, snowy walk out there (the clinic is a good 2 miles from the part of campus where I live). Fortunately, as I was walking past the high school, some kind soul pulled over and offered me a ride. Very fortunately--my knees, ankles, and arches don't tolerate walking through deep snow well at all, and it was too early for all the sidewalks to have been plowed. The streets were a little better, but not much. By the time I was ready to leave, Northfield Transit was running. Soooo tired. Must sleep. But I can't; my break is only 15 minutes. Must get back to shelving books. Lots of books.
