I couldn't find anywhere to redirect posts like this, so I created a comm. Thought I should check here to make sure there's not a pre-existing outlet for this that I missed.

Most people probably won't voluntarily post at mcrtixexchange because there are more people at chemicalromance. The only way I think the comm will succeed is if you require all posts about tickets to be posted to mcrtixexchange.

I had thought of that, but for every post about ticket sales we let through we get upwards of five complaints about posts regarding ticket sales, so its a tough one.

No downside to asking, but the reality is the whole reason there's a need to create a run-off community in the first place is that nobody likes those ticket posts. However, I will be advertising it over there, I just haven't had a chance to write any rule, nor do I have time to moderate anything going on over there just for the next few hours.

Oh yeah, that's true. But if people are required to post about tickets to that community, the people who want to see those posts can and those who don't won't have to. It's also not really that difficult to just skip over posts like that, though. So it's really up to the mods. *shrug* Sorry about not being much help. xP

please just do the entry on chemicalromance and ask everyone who's going on any of the US dates to get their asses to the ticket-community or else i'll go berzerk :D
