Horray for long weekends.
I can't even begin to remember the last time that I wrote in this, but I was thinking about it the other day and realized that I kinda like writing down my thoughts and what's going on in my life and this is the easiest way to do that, so I figured, hey why not start LJ'ing again.
There has been so much going on in my life lately, I don't even know where to begin!
School is going okay this year. It's much busier than last year, which I kind of enjoy in a weird sort of way. Most of my classes this semester are pretty good, minus accounting and my tour planning class. I'm heading to Halifax this week to do a study tour of the area. We're staying at the Westin which I'm pretty excited about. Hopefully that will be funner than it's been to actually plan it (for details on that mess, you can ask me about it later!)...the Christmas dance is on December 8th this year...hopefully that'll be as fun as last year, lol...definitely asking for the next day off!
Work has also been pretty hectic. I'm back at the Save Easy...don't ask me why, I still haven't figured that out yet. But hey, it's a job and it pays okay, so I figured I might as well take them up on their offer rather than having to look for something else right now.
The new Cobalt is working magnificently! I love my car so much! Although it's extremely expensive to have, I'm glad I went through with it!
This weekend was pretty good. I worked Friday night until 11:00, and then Saturday we had company for the night. Tina and Kendell came over from NB for the snowmobile draw...unfortunately nobody won anything though. Maybe next year. Yesterday I worked again until 5:00 and then today I went in town and got the gifts for the Christmas shoeboxes that I'm making.
Tonight I'm headed out to Wood Islands to pick up Andy and Crystal. They were home for the weekend and needed a drive back to C'town. Seems like they've been away for a week!
Tomorrow it's back to class and work...fun stuff.
