today 6 city buses in rio de janeiro were burned by the gangs. 19 people died. these are main buses, ones i take in rio.
it was always a fear in rio that i would be die in a bus burning but i had not heard of any recent burnings. hearing things like this in places near where i live..or am going to live again in 2 weeks, is so scary.
i fing it very frustrating that it isnt in the headline news. instead jennifer garner and ben affleck's baby being christened is in the news. if gangs took over six city buses and set them on fire with everyone in them in the us or england or any western country that would be headline news but they are poor people, so no one knows.

i am afraid of this news but it won't stop me from going.
i have a crush on the boy who takes us up and down in the elevator at my grandparents apartment building. i am a mess. but its cool. he is the same age and on college break. hes working till 6.30 am and its 2 am now. maybe ill go say hi. jk jk
i think im going to stay in nyc this summer, i have an internship and i would like a summer in the city. it is one of my favorite places after all.
i hope i am safe in rio and just not in the wrong place at the wrong time.
