“Door’s open!” Chris yelled from the living room, tuning his guitar carefully. Jared and Jensen came in, Jensen carrying his guitar with him.
“I just brought this over to have Steve tune it.” Jensen announced, “I’m not playing.”
“Why not?” Steve asked, taking the case from Jensen.
“Because I haven’t been practicing, and I currently suck.” Jensen admitted.
“Bad, Jenny!” Chris scolded, setting his guitar down on the coffee table and getting up to give his friends a hug hello.
“I know, I know.” Jensen sighed, grunting as Chris pulled him into a rib breaking hug. Chris pulled Jared into a bear hug and wheezed as Jared squeezed him back just as hard. “Down, boy!” Jensen scolded, pulling Jared away from Chris when Chris’s face started to turn red from lack of oxygen.
“Sorry.” Jared apologized, smiling sheepishly.
“Yeah, yeah, just don’t do it again.” Chris grumbled. “Chloe, what’re you doing?” Chris asked as his daughter started to crawl into her bear fort.
“Riley’s hogging the play-doh.” Chloe pouted, wiggling her way in through the bears.
“Riley!” Steve sighed, pushing himself up.
“You guys have play-doh?” Jared asked, his eyes lighting up.
“Yeah.” Steve confirmed as he headed to the kitchen. “Riley, Chloe says you’re hogging the play-doh.”
“Am not!” Riley contested, continuing to squish the play-doh between his fingers.
“It sure looks like you are.” Steve pointed out, frowning when Jared stepped around him and joined Riley at the table, opening another tub of it and squishing it around himself.
“This stuff is so cool!” Jared laughed, squeezing and rolling the play-doh around.
“I know, right?” Riley said as he continued playing with it.
“You guys are such kids.” Steve scoffed, heading back to the living room, opening the door on the way by when he heard a knock. “Hi, Jason. Please turn to your left for play-doh land, or to your right for music.”
“There’s play-doh?” Jason asked, setting Lucy down by the door and heading off to his left.
“I was joking!” Steve called after him.
