As you are most likely aware I am far from Anelka's biggest fan. I suspect with the fact that we are losing Joe Cole, Ballack and Deco for next year we will see Anelka in more of a midfield attacking role next season, as opposed to an out and out striker role. Ancelotti toyed with this last season in what I believe may well have been a trial ahead of next season.
