That was an amazing match and a great result. I celebrated and I celebrated hard! Though sadly I think that is really the last of my celebrations for the footballing year. "Liverpool was never the same without Alonso, and without torres they don't put the same scare in me."

We are far better than Liverpool, trouble is we know it! I wish our last 2 matches were against United and Arsenal, as then I'd believe we would do it, as we have a better mental approach. I read Ngog and Kuyt may miss out on Thursday due to injury, though I doubt they will still be injured by Sunday. A bad penalty/free kick decision, a goal down and we are knackered.

The 2005 boys had a better mental attitude. They were out-egoed to put it bluntly. You either out-ego them, or make them love you (as was the case under Guus). We are up ourselves as a result of 7-0 and I doubt we see the current Liverpool as a threat. I should be excited at this time of the year with this finish, frankly I just want it over.

Sunderland don't stand a snow flake's chance in Hell. United are undermanned, under-talented, but they have the attitude, as shown by their injury time point grabbers throughout the season. They are still playing as they walk down the tunnel.
