That was an amazing match and a great result. I celebrated and I celebrated hard! Though sadly I think that is really the last of my celebrations for the footballing year. We were either back to our very best against a Stoke team that weren't up to scratch for the majority of the match, or it was just a flash in the pan, an enjoyable one, but a ( Read more... )

You're not doubting us are you?? The whole season you've been the optimist and now, at the eleventh hour, you are jumping off? ;). Just kidding. I really can't see that we will play well enough to win the last 2 matches. It is ours to earn, but we are too erratic, some of this is player, most is manager in my opinion. Our fate was sealed by the front 3 formation last week. Also if we draw either Dowd or Clattenburg as referee this week we are GONE! The way Liverpool "attack" Drogba's ankles and either of those 2 as referee, we won't stand a snow flake's chance in Hell.

Mourinho making a return to Chelsea eh? *lol*. Yeah, does she not realise that Roman is still in charge of the club? He would not bring him back under any circumstances. He won't be in Italy next year, I know that much, but not at Chelsea. I'm not sure where he will end up, as Liverpool won't appeal until the money is freed up. City have already been in the running and this may happen again, but certainly not at Chelsea I agree with you.

United fans hate Nani, but I for one would take him any day! He can be awesome. Also Valencia doesn't look like he has had a huge impact this year, but when you look at his stats he has been mightily impressive. As for Bent, I agree, there are two of him. His goal on the weekend was freaky! I was happy as he is in my Fantasy Team, but I still don't know how he scored it from there! That said I can't see even the good him taking points from United and I think we will draw with Liverpool.

I hate to say this and I am aware that The Potters didn't really test our backline, but we looked secure without John Terry this week. He is a liability at the moment. I had trouble typing that, but this is how I feel. His concentration slips a little too often. Zhirkov makes me nervous when he is in defence, the guy looks good going forward, but not going back. He is better suited in the midfield for mine and I would like to see Joe Cole in the back IF required.

Ashley Cole's miss was Joe Cole-esque of late. It's match fitness, or a lack there of in my opinion. Joey has had amazing footwork, but lacks the finish, same was true of Ashley on the weekend. Only time can and will fix this. Malouda's miss was a surprise, though I was glad he did get one in the end (and not just because he is in my Fantasy team either :P).

My tip for the Liverpool match 1-1.
