good morning, good morning! it's time to start the day, good morning, good morning, to you! ugh, i feel like hell cause i got more than 8 hours sleep last night. yuck! but delicious all the same. yesterday i went shopping with my mom for some new school duds and basically went several hours without finding anything before ending up in Old Navy of all places where i found (and i would never say this if i didn't mean it) THE MOST COMFORTABLE PAIR OF CORDS IN THE WORLD. and they were $30. so i bought 3 pair. of course now that i think they're so amazing the first time that i wear them i'll remember why i never shop at old nave because they'll stretch out to hell and i'll be holding up my pants with a safety pin and some school glue. hopefully old navy will prove me wrong this time. i wouldn't even care if it were only this time that i was pleasantly surprised by their clothing either. just the once would be enough.
so my mom goes home tonight and i'm getting kind of worried. i know, i know... you're thinking "do you even like your mom?" and that's a hard question. i think it's just that after this i'll be on my own (save for the one friend i have here in calgary who coincidentally flies in from toronto tonight) but i really don't want to smother her all of a sudden because we haven't really been super close in a while and it's going to be weird if all of a sudden i'm in her face all the time. also, we're both really different now so for all i know we may not even want to be friends! i hope this isn't the case though for several reasons...
hmmm... the tummy is rumbling. i need sustenance... i guess i should get going anyway since i need to take full advantage of the last day i have someone with me to run around and finish my errands. seriously, what a brilliant idea this was moving to calgary.
